Akash Rai

Akash Rai, an Assistant Professor at Ahmedabad Institute of Technology and a dedicated research scholar with a strong academic and industry background. My journey in academia and research is driven by a passion for sustainability, technology, and innovative business solutions.

My professional experience includes working in the banking business process outsourcing sector, where I gained valuable insights into financial operations, customer management, and business process optimization. Transitioning into academia, I have been involved in teaching and research, focusing on bridging the gap between theory and practical applications.

As a research scholar, my work primarily revolves around electric vehicles, sustainable supply chain management, circular economy, IoT and AI in management, sustainable handicrafts, and waste management. I am deeply interested in exploring how technology and sustainability can drive economic growth while ensuring environmental responsibility. My research aims to contribute to the development of efficient, sustainable, and technology-driven business models.

In addition to teaching, I am committed to mentoring students, guiding them in research, and helping them develop a problem-solving mindset. My goal is to contribute to the academic and research community by publishing impactful research, collaborating with industry leaders, and working towards sustainable development solutions.

I believe that technology, innovation, and sustainability must go hand in hand to build a better future. Through my research and teaching, I strive to make meaningful contributions to these evolving fields.
